Biking and hiking paradise
Mountain biking in the Engadin is top-notch: Over 400 kilometers of riding pleasure on perfectly sign-posted routes. Bike transport up to the 3057-meter-high Piz Nair. Trail fun as far as Italy with easy return travel by train. Discovery tours through forests and valleys and to mountain lakes and glaciers.

The network of hiking trails in the Engadin is said to cover 580 kilometers. Although no one knows the exact number of kilometers, one thing is for sure: every kilometer is a meaningful experience of nature in itself.

Windsurfing and kiting paradise
Windsurfers were already cavorting on Lake Silvaplana in the 1970s. That's because Silvaplana is the most wind-safe windsurfing spot in Europe. Promptly at noon the legendary Maloja wind turns on and attracts the top international windsurfers to the Engadin every year.

The valley - Engadin
